Spotlight on Dr. Michael Civin

Dr. Michael A Civin, Ph.D. is a specialist in clinical psychology in the Bronx area of New York City. Dr. Civin has long been a fixture in the close-knit psychological services industry in the area for most of his nearly three-decade-long career. In addition to being a co-founder of Rose Hill Psychological Services, where he is a senior psychologist, Dr. Michael Civin also operates a private practice that serves patients in the Astoria, Manhattan, and Bayville areas of New York City
Michael A Civin has had a lot of education. He graduated from Harvard in 1968 with his A.B. degree, which he earned cum laude. Following that, he attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 1968-69 and he earned his first Master of Arts degree in 1970 from the University of Oregon. He earned his second M.A., in Clinical Psychology from the Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University in 1986, which is also where he earned his Ph.D. in 1988. He didn’t stop there, however; Dr. Michael Civin also received a medical degree from the Pennsylvania Institute Of Straight Chiropractic with his medical degree in 1988 and he completed a Postdoctoral Certificate in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in 1993.
These days, Dr. Michael Civin accepts new patients at his medical office and practice location in Bronx, New York and treats them with the greatest of care. Rose Hill Psychological Services, from its location near Fordham University, was founded to offer affordable high-quality psychological services to the underserved populations nearby, and they continue to do so.
